How to use the Color Book.

Load the Color Pages into your graphics program, and print them on the same media you will be using to print your final artwork. Two Color Pages will fit on an 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheet of media.

Using a sharp X-acto knife, carefully cut out the 8 thin vertical white strips between the color blocks. Cut slightly into the color blocks, so the color appears right at the edge of the window. You may need multiple blades to cut all of the windows. A dull knife may tear the media.

Select Color Pages that appear to have colors close to your desired color and slide them one at a time over the artwork you are trying to color-match. Let the original color show through the windows, and look for a color that that looks most like the original. When you find something that looks close, be sure to check the page before and after the one you have chosen, to see if there may be a closer match.

To find a closer match, generate a Color Strip at http://tools.REELpinball.com. Enter the Red, Green, and Blue values of the closest match from the Color Pages. A Color Strip will be generated with 27 shades of color close to the entered value.
